practical conscious consumers. The material is non-porous, which inhibits growth of mold, mildew and bacteria. Minor scratches are removed with ease using the correct scotch bright pad that matches your countertop finish. Solid surface products can retain their new look indefinitely using this process due to the color and particulate suspended throughout the entire 1/2" thickness.
If major damage does occur all solid surface products can be professionally repaired by using the materials left by your fabricator (i.e. cook top or sink cut out). All seams in these repairs will be inconspicuous.
